The International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B), a deemed university, will start a new five-year integrated M Tech programme in Information Technology (IT). Announcing this at a press conference here on Monday, Prof Rajagopalan of IIIT-B said, “The institute has been receiving requests from industry, government and public to utilise its expertise to provide quality education to students. Acceding to the requests, we have decided to start the five-year integrated M Tech course.” This integrated programme is a full-time dual degree programme for students who have senior secondary school (Plus two) or equivalent qualification. At the end of five years, students will get both B Tech and M Tech degrees in IT.
