COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION (I) � 2012
  Union Public Service Commission will be conducting   Combined Defence  Services Examination (I) � 2012  on 12th February, 2012 (Sunday)  at  41 Centers all over India as per notification dated 29th October, 2011. The Commission has introduced the facility of generating e-Admit Card (Admission Certificate) for this Examination for convenience of candidates. The candidates can download their Admission Certificate from the Union Public Service Commission  website  http ://www.upsc.gov.in . Candidates are advised to take the printout of the Admission  Certificate and produce the same for appearing at the allotted venue for this examination. No paper Admission Certificate will be sent by post. 
          In case the photograph is not printed/available on the e-Admit Card (Admission Certificate), candidates are advised to carry three (3) photographs (one identical photograph for each session) alongwith  proof of identity such as Identity Card or Voter Identity Card or Passport or Driving License and printout of e-Admit Card (Admission Certificate) at the venue of the Examination.



                                              MOBILE PHONES BANNED 
(a)     Mobile Phones, Pagers or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises, where UPSC Examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action against the concerned candidates including ban from future Examinations/Selections.
(b)   Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones/pagers to the venue of the examination, as arrangements for safekeeping cannot be assured.

Infosys delays 17,000 campus recruitment offers

Bangalore: With a challenging environment, and low visibility into client spend, Infosys has said that it will be deferring joining dates, and the management is also putting some cost saving measures in place, reports Shreya Roy of CNBC-TV18. Infy had decided that with its current business needs in mind it will defer its campus recruitment process. The company had initially made 27,000 campus offers, but now the company says that 17,000 of these will be deferred by up to three months. However, the firm has reiterated that it plans to honour each of these offers in due course of time. In fact the company which prided itself on a six-month long extensive training programme for fresh intakes has also decided to cut the period short by two months, four months of this training programme will be conducted at its sprawling Mysore campus, while two months will be an online programme.
